"The Panasonic AY-DV276AMQ 276MIN Large DV Advanced Master Quality Cassette is a 6.35mm Metal Evaporative Tape technology for professional master quality recording. It uses a dry lubricant and a durable diamond-like carbon (DLC) film with extra thickness to boost durability during still frame playback, which places considerable burden on the tape. This rugged durability stands up to the repeated rewinding, fast-forwarding and playback of professional editing. The S-AME (Super Advanced Metal Evaporation) technology has yielded an improved magnetic density. This tape offers excellent characteristics in regard to dropout, clogging, and still image playback."
